LINO STAMP MAKING! SAT 5-25 11-2:30
COME CARVE YOUR OWN LINO STAMP! SATURDAY MAY 25 11-2:30
This workshop includes 2 Speedy-Carve pink carving blocks (very easy and beginner friendly!), the use of carving tools and all the supplies for printing. We will spend the first half of the workshop carving, and the second half printing and sharing our new stamps! Lino stamps are perfect for greeting cards, wrapping paper, patches, clothing… the possibilities are endless! We will go over some basic printing techniques, including how to make your stamp fabric safe.
There will be fabric scraps and cardstock available for printing on, but if you are also welcome to bring a clothing item to print!
Please bring an apron or wear clothes that you won’t mind getting dirty. The studio is often chilly so layers are recommended. Closed water bottles and beverages and snacks are welcome! This workshop will be limited to adults 18+ since we will be working with sharp carving tools.
