Get ready, babes! We are going to sew darling BRALETTES!
Join us SUN JUNE 14th 11am-3pm to sew a comfy bralette in cotton or bamboo knit fabric. There will be multiple colors and prints to choose from for your project.
There will be multiple bralette styles to choose to make including:
Tie front
Twist front
Short or longline band options
We will be sewing the Lucky Lingerie pattern from Rad Patterns. It accommodates sizes XXS - 4X. This workshop pairs well with the Undies Sewing Workshop! If you would like to take both workshops and make a cute set please visit this link for a discounted class bundle.
*You must have some basic machine sewing experience to attend this workshop. This class is appropriate for a confident beginner.
In this workshop you will learn:
how to measure your body and choose your size
how to sew knit fabric
how to add elastic
Included in this workshop:
cotton or bamboo knit fabric
elastic
printed pattern and instructions
thread and stretch sewing machine needles
4 hours of guided and hands on instruction from Erika
access to a serger to finish seams
Please bring to the workshop:
a functional sewing machine if you have one (we have studio machines that you are welcome to use if needed.)
Sharp fabric scissors if you have ‘em! We have studio scissors, but there never seems to be enough pairs to go around!
This in-person event will take place at BOLT Handmakers Society located at 556 S. Vista Ave, in the Vista Plaza. Please arrive on time. You can park anywhere in the front parking lot. There is also parking along the back of the building. Bring along a closed water bottle and snacks!
